In Chichen Itza there is old Mayan temples and pyramids built thousands of years ago. The temples and pyramids are even included in the new seven wonders of the world. It was amazing to see.

Here’s where the Maya indians scarified children and things to there gods:

The Maya indians believes that everyone that takes a bath in this holy, all natural water will live forever. The water is supposed to be very good for the body and soul. The place was 2000 years old.

After a 3 hours drive from Cancun, we finally reached our destination. The land of the Maya’s was pretty poor and they live very simple life. They do most of there things by hand and doesn’t even have a doctor around. They have a medicine man instead. It was very interesting to see.

Tequila growing:

Cancun is very modern, clean and it was built only 30 years ago, which shows too. There’s loads of clothing stores, big malls, restaurants, bars and nightclubs centered in the area. Cancun feels in general very american. Reminds me a lot of Miami : )

The best dessert I’ve ever had. 8 different ice-creams, melted chocolate and fruits to be dipped in the chocolate.

We are now in Cancun, Mexico and I must say that this city, is without doubt, my favorite in the Caribbean. The atmosphere is really cool and the city itself is build in such a modern way without loosing the Mexican feeling. And the beach and the colour of this water was impossible to catch on picture. It looks much nicer in reality.
