Finally, we’re in San Francisco!! So what have we been doing today? Waking up in the softest bed you can ever find at the Intercontinental SF. Spent a few hours at the airport (we missed it so much now when we’re traveling by car), had a delicious lunch, did some shopping (Rosetta stone) and a few other things : /
Another long day on the road, 12 hours in total of driving through deserted land. We have this cd Learn Italian in 30 days so at least that kept us alive : ) Almost in San Francisco, I see this big blue building that felt very familiar. Yess, it was what I could only be dreaming of finding. IKEA!!! I convinced Johan to stop the car so we could do what we in Sweden call FROSSA!!!

We backed our bags and began our road trip today. First destination is Salt Lake City, Utah where we’re going to stay for one night only. We saw beautiful nature on the way, but the cities/villages in-between was very small and very empty. Salt Lake City is very beautiful but unfortunately we didn’t have much time to explore the city of Mormons after the 10 hour drive from Aspen to Salt Lake.
The police stopped us for driving to fast. He let us go with a warning though : )
