Stupa // Peace Pagoda

Saturday and my first day off since I came to Pokhara so me and Geert decided to take a one day trip and get up to the stupa that we’ve been looking at from the kitchen window all week. Early morning and the lake was all calm, we rented a boat and decided to row across the lake. Easier said than done. None of us had ever been rowing before and there was many endless circles out there before we managed to get the boat to go in the right direction. When we came to the other side, we hiked up the very steep hill and had a few breaks before we finally reach the Peace Pagoda.

My yoga teacher Larry Schultz passed away only a few days ago so I wanted to circle around the stupa for him. 108 times (the bodys secret number) around the stupa which took forever and a few blisters on our sore feets was the perfect ending of our day trip.
